San Francisco Orchestra Site for kids: Interactive music theory, instruments of the orchestra (picture and sound), an interative keyboard etc. Great to introduce and interest kids in musical notation and instruments.

Music tracks to download. Most .99c or $1.99. Cover version, instrumental with backing singers, or just instrumental available for most tracks. Can change pitch before you download. Really useful for choir trainers.

How to... Procedural reading / writing
This is a wiki-style site which you can join for free and contribute to. Great place for finding How To.... and for contributing your own quality How Tos. Some of my year 4, 5 & 6 class are submitting thier instructions for various inventions, recipes they have created etc. instructables

Build Yourself Wild - design a character. Great for writing character descriptions.
